I know what you mean Jonah. The holy grail of a lot of so called 'smart-appliances' that were promised to us in every 'Smart-home' project from HP to Orange. There was a great photo-frame from e-Starling which directly hooks up to Flickr and Gmail. We wanted to have them in our store, but they were unavailable for a while. Hopefully should get some stock for Christmas, so we are able to do the most basic scenario all of us have been on about since the early nineties ;) I don't have your email, but do check back here. Cheers Priya

This photo frame looks really nicely designed! *But* I'd like to know if it can read in photos from the internet. My parents are abroad, and I'd love to be able to upload photos to a website and have them see my photos.

Hello Charlotte- It runs on re-chargeable batteries. I just bought one for my mother-in-law and she put all her digital photos from her ceramics exhbition and my nephew's photos on it. About the price, I am trying to put all the products online. The reason I haven't priced anything online is that I haven't had time to complete each product description as well as set up the physical store. Now that the physical store is up and running, I intend to complete the online store inventory and product descriptions too. We are selling the photo displays at £159. Let me know if you'd like one, we can order them in for you. I love your idea of using a random photos as a screensaver. Have you tried Sharpcast? Its a great photo service that effortlessly syncronises all your digital photos across your PC, online and your mobile device. - Priya, dwb

I've often thought such an object should exist, I've been making do by setting my desktop and screensaver to randomly select from my photo album but this is much better and would make a wonderful gift. Does it run on batteries? Why so coy about the price though?
